Ka’ena Point is one of the most stunning places on Oahu during summer! Such a perfect location for a shoot with tall fields in front of the mountains and ocean views over the horizon. Driving to Ka’ena can be a little far located on the most northwestern point of the island, but I promise it is so, so worth it!
It poured on me (like not your typical island sprinkle but actually down-poured) the entire way to this session and I was so nervous that it was going to be a flop, but ended up so grateful once again that we stuck it out. It started just a tad bit gloomy but once the sun popped out from behind the clouds we had one of the most colorful sunsets I’ve ever witnessed here! Such a fun and beautiful night!
Rain on the island is super common… but if you’re worried about rescheduling, don’t be! It almost always comes and goes and leaves us with such beautiful skies afterwards. Honestly, it usually feels amazing afterwards cooling down the temperature just enough.
